Creating Hydrophobic Wood?

I thought that I would run a quick test of the N3 Nano Finish versus a more traditional finish.

After applying a traditional finish to one half, and N3 on the other half of a finished coffee table that I had made, I poured a bunch of water over the top of the table.

In trying to do a fair test, I gotta say that the results are pretty cool… I actually think it’s freaking incredible!

The N3 side makes it so water repellent that it won’t even migrate over to the other side.

Clearly, you can see a difference in the sheen and the color, but it’s the stain and water protection that I really love.
