The Fire Table, or Fire Epoxy Table is Blacktail prototype. Still experimenting and perfecting the process of taking a single slab of wood, charring deeply, then covering with a thin layer of crystal clear resin to created a truly unique 3D effect on the charred wood.

One corner of this piece was accidentally skimmed during construction, revealing bare wood. But what resulted was a Bob Ross, “happy accident.” On future pieces I would like to intentionally incorporate more/different variations of the bare wood. Creating a sunburst effect of sorts. It would of course be possible to make a solid char table, with no bare spots as well.
