This 96x42” table was crafted from a single slab or locally salvaged Oregon Black Walnut. While originally designed to be square edge, a small kiss of a live edge was left on one corner. In addition to the unique corner, a 22 degree chamfer was also added to the profile to provide a little more interest to this table. Small natural cracks were stabilized and highlighted with hand cut bow tie joints, seamlessly inlaid.

Underneath the table 2” steel C-channel was inlaid to provide long term stability and ensure the table stays perfectly flat for generations. The top was then mounted on a pair of wishbone steel legs that are attached with threaded inserts and machine bolts. This will allow assembly and disassembly an infinite number of times with just an allen wrench.

An optional matching bench went with this table top. Also fitted with wishbone legs and a matching finish.
